Our girls' road trip was enhanced by the cozy Queen Suite and the gated garage. The comforting breakfast and charming staff truly made this stay enjoyable.

A pool day mishap

The room was spacious and immaculate. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, making our family feel welcome throughout our stay.

Unfortunately, the pool was closed without prior notice, which was especially disappointing as we were looking forward to swimming with our child.

We loved lounging by the outdoor swimming pool after enjoying a fantastic hot breakfast each morning. The spacious King Suite provided plenty of comfort for our stay. The only small hiccup was a slight delay during check-in, but everything else was spot on! 😊

It’s not all bad, but it’s not all good

The hotel is in a fantastic location within walking distance to the beach and numerous shops. The rooms are spacious, and the staff at breakfast are friendly and attentive.

Check-in was frustrating and disorganized. Housekeeping was inconsistent, and we noticed some maintenance issues that went unresolved during our stay.

I enjoyed our stay at the Fairfield Inn. The location nearby the beach was convenient for family outings. The queen suite was spacious, perfect for our family of four. Breakfast options were solid, especially the waffles. The complimentary hot coffee available throughout the day was a nice touch. Staff were friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome. However, the pool was unexpectedly closed during our stay. This was disappointing as our child loves to swim. Also, I found the fitness center had limited equipment, which made it difficult when it got crowded. The hot water in our room took a while to warm up, which was frustrating during morning routines. Overall, I would come back but hope for better amenities next time.

We absolutely loved our stay! The room was spacious and the dual head shower was a great touch. Everything we needed was nearby, including amazing shops and eateries.

In my kids’ opinion, they wished the pool hours were longer.

The breakfast was surprisingly decent! ! My kids loved the waffles and bacon, perfect way to fuel up before hitting the beach. Also, the pool was a good spot to relax after a long day!

the gym lacked more equipment.

The King Suite was pretty comfy and clean, which is a must. The bed was nice, but the sofa bed was a bit rough for the teenager. The bathroom towels definitely need an upgrade. The noise from the hallway was noticeable, especially with guests going by. The smart TV was cool for streaming, though! Overall, it’s a solid spot for a basic stay.

This place was a great match for an overnight stopping in Capitola with decent value for money. The room was a little cramped but fit our needs just fine for a few nights. Make sure to ask about local food delivery options for convenience.
